Fireside “Run for Your Wife” Poster
Print Design / Logo Design / Art Direction

For the Fireside's 2013 season, I was in charge of preparing all the show posters. In many cases, they were using posters, or at least logos, from the production companies. This show was one of the exceptions. I sketched out a variety of concepts for both the logo and the poster, and we settled on the image of the main characters chasing each other up a wedding cake. It summed up the basic premise of the show quite nicely, and made for an intriguing visual. Additionally, I researched illustration styles, and found a direction that seemed to best suit the comic feel. Once the direction was solidified, I passed on my rough sketch to an illustrator, and directed him in completing the final poster art. Meanwhile, I narrowed down logo directions with the consideration of the free space allowed for in the art. Once both logo & illustration were complete to everyone's satisfaction, I finalized the poster design, and sent it along with the rest of the season's art, to the Fireside.
